Mel Gibson İngilizce Hayatı

Mel Gibson was born in Peekskill, New York City, on 3rd of January, in 1956. He grew up in a big and middle class of family. His parents Hutton Gibson and Ann Gibson were catholic. At age of 7 he and his family moved to Sydney, Australia because of War in Vietnam. In Australia he studied in catholic school where only boys were. When he graduated high school he decided to be journalist or chef of restaurant. But his sister sent application without his permission to National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, Australia. But for that moment he didn’t have any skills of acting, anyway he was taken to this drama school. His first and debut role was in sketch “Romeo and Juliet”. But his first seriously role was in film “Summer city” in 1977. After graduation he continued his study in Southern Australian Theatre Company where he played roles in classical films such as “Henry IV” and “Oedipus”.  

After graduation institute he played role in local serial “The Sullivans”. In 1980 he won his first award by the film “Tim” Australian Film Institute Award in nomination “The Best Actor”. His next film “Mad Max” became successful and the first Australian film with huge box office of $100 million. In 1981 he starred in film “Gallipoli” where he played role Peter Weir’s World War I and by this film  he won his next Australian Film Institute Award. At the same year he released his next film “Mad Max 2”. In 1982 this film was released under the name “The Road Warrior” in USA which brought to Mel the title of international star. His first film in Hollywood movie industry was with film “The River” which became successful and brought to him 4 Oscars. After that he continued the next part of “Mad Max: Beyond the Thunderland” where starred the legend of music singer Tina Turner. In 1986 Mel Gibson was the “Sexiest Man Alive” by People magazine. After a few years he returned on the stage of Hollywood movie industry with successful film “Lethal Weapon”. Then was released the several parts of this film such as “Lethal Weapon 2”, “Lethal Weapon 3” and “Lethal Weapon 4”.
In 1990 Mel Gibson released his first and debut film produced by himself of Icon Production is “Hamlet” and other films included “Leo Tolstoy’s Anna Karenina” and “Immortal Beloved”. He played roles in a low successful reputation films such as “Air America” and “Forever Young”. His next film “The Man Without Face” was produced by Icon Production where also he starred. His successful time came with film “Brave Heart” about 13th century Scottish Sir William Wallace. By this film he won 5 Oscars such as in nominations “The Best Picture” and “The Best Director”. In 1990s he starred in the films as “Ransom”, “Conspiracy Theory” and “Payback”.
