Beginning her career in the 1980s, she rose to limelight by providing an overwhelming performance in Friends for about 10 years right from the first episode. She used to earn about $1 million for each episode and there were about 236 episodes telecasted. Moving on to Hollywood, she soon became one of the high budget actors in the industry. Starring at the beginning in Office Space and The Good Girl, she was paired with Jim Carrey in Bruce Almighty. Alone Came Polly, a romantic comedy with Ben Stiller had shown the world more of her jolly screen presence. Other notable movies like Rumor Has It and Derailed just inspired her fans to have more from her. She did not disappoint her fans by her consistent performance in Friends with Money and The Break Up.
The movie Friends with Money had the touch of her own filmmaking styles. And, another one, The Break Up was a blockbuster, which even found a space in the Cannes Festival. After a few years break, she was back with a bang while starring in Marley and Me with Owen Wilson. This movie was the box office hit and sitting pretty at the top, while about $14 millions of tickets were sold. The next hit of her is He’s Just Not That into You, topping the box office charts once again, selling $27.5 millions of tickets sold in the first week.
