Elvis Presley was singer, musian, actor. He was born in Tupelo, Mississippi on 1935.His talent in singing did not come up as surprise, he had good voice right from his childhood .Elvis spent childhood in poverty.
Elvis’ musical influences were the pop, country music of the time and the gospel music .He was know as “The King of Rock and Roll” or simply The King ,he was an American singer ,who had a profound effect on world culture.
In 1954 ,he began his singing career with the legendary Sun Records ,it was successful .As promised, Elvis was shown in newspaper , television appearances, photographs where he was claimed to be the next superstar of the music world .Presley became very rich ,but he didn’t know how the spend money, he got many big house, farms.
Elvis was popular even when he was not in action for about two year, people were crazy for him and were waiting for his new record and movies.
He died on 1977.The King of Rock and Roll was only 42 years old. He is considered as one of the most important figures of twentieth century popular culture.
